He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Whitehair and Bonnie Whitehair (Curtis); and his brother James Edward Whitehair. He is survived by: his wife Lu Ann Whitehair (Garrett); his stepsons, Brad Shroyer and Ryan Shroyer; his grandchildren, Sophia Shroyer, Allison Shroyer, Jackson Shroyer, Madeline Stutz and Barrett Shroyer; his siblings, Karen Reum, Dan Whitehair and Michael Whitehair; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Reum, Kevin Reum, Kristin Whitehair, Brittany Whitehair, Sarah Anderson and Michele Callender.
