He is survived by: his parents, Dusty Bates of Albany and Heather Bates of Albany; his sister Emily Jo Bates of Albany; his grandparents, Ron, Kandi Goodman, Chesterfield, Doug, Lynn Hudson, Muncie, Scott, Nikki Bates and Anderson; his uncle Jason Bates; and his aunt Jen Bates. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
