He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Stephen; and his parents, Bert A. Stephen and Lilly Mabel Stephen. He is survived by: his children, Floyd E. Stephen, Donny Stephen, Bert A. Stephen, Tommy Stephen, Jacquetta S. Wright and Julie Davis. He is also survived by two sisters, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to Jay County Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
