She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hisle and Emily Hisle; her husband Roy Melvin Whitney; her son Robert "Bob" Whitney; and her stepson Melvin Whitney.
She is survived by: her son Earl Whitney; her daughter-in-law Joy Whitney; her grandchildren, Andrea Whitney, Joshua Whitney, Victoria Whitney, Chelsey Whitney, Ethan Whitney and Ian Whitney; and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Triston, Noah, Jordan and James.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the same location.
