With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Shepherd (Akron, Indiana), born in Warsaw, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 78. Though Sandra may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rathbun and Marie Rathbun (Wideman); her husband Ellis Shepherd; and her brother Cam Rathbun. She is survived by: her children, Todd (Shannon) of Rochester, Scott (Lori) of Warsaw, Josh (Stephanie) of Akron and Ashley (Daryn) of Roann; and her sister Carol (Don) of Mentone. She is also survived by 8 granddaughters, and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the King Memorial (101 N Tucker St, Mentone, IN 46539). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
