He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal Hackworth and Margie Hackworth; his granddaughters, Ava Green and Hannah Gambill; and his sister Elaine.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Hackworth of Akron; his daughters, Sarah (Jeromy Green) of Akron and Kaitlyn (Aaron Gambill) of Burket; his grandsons, Logan, Easton Green, Max and Evan Gambill; and his siblings, Charlene Gray of North Manchester, Eilene (William Prater) of Silver Lake, Lorraine (Bruce Bradley) of New Jersey and Vernal E. (Diana Hackworth) of Batesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
