He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Swihart (Waiting) and Lois Swihart (Keim); his niece Sue; his great-niece Kelcie Cole; his aunts, Janet Strevy, Karen Aikman, Jerry Hudson and Joyce; his brother Larry Swihart; his grandparents, Marquerite Keim, Carl, Evelyn Swihart and Charles; and his cousins, Kelby Swihart, Rick, Virginia Keim and Buddy.
