He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Yakes and Mary Yakes (Fuller); his father-in-law Joseph Griffith; and his brother-in-law Robert P. Bremer. He is survived by: his wife Susie Yakes of Akron; his daughter Jennifer Hale; his siblings, Albert Yakes, Susan Gillespie and Michelle Yakes Young; his grandchildren, Macy, Hannah, Evan, Zak (Katie) and Alyssa (Nick); his mother-in-law Ramona Griffith; and his sister-in-law Virginia Bremer. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews.
