It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reta Y. Bahney (Akron, Indiana), who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hopkins and Elizabeth Hopkins (Stine); her husband Butch; and her sisters, Linda Kelly and Sandra Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Paul M. Bahney (Patsy Waymire) of Rochester, Denise Messer of Warsaw and Lisa Bahney of Akron; her grandchildren, Ashley, Logan, Jerrica, Dustin and Bailey; and her siblings, Lorraine Thompson of LaFontaine, Eleanor Bailey of Warsaw and Dwayne Hopkins of Wabash. She is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Kindred Hospice or to the Fulton County Honor Guard.
