He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Adams and Pauline Adams (Personette); his wife Marilyn R. Haney; and his siblings, Jack Adams Jr. and Bonnie Summe.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Ann Adams, Phil (Shirley Adams) and Kent (Lisa Adams); and his brother Jim (Margaret Adams) of Akron. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 6 step great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Beaver Dam Community Church or to Wheels on Fire to assist the community members who are fighting cancer.
