He was predeceased by: his father Louis Boos; his brothers, Gene Boos, Edward Boos, Louis Boos, Jr. and A. Allen Boos; and his stepsister Harvene Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Boos of Akron; and his children, Mark (Carly Boos) of Denver, Eric (Karene Boos) of Madison, Wisconsin, Angela (Matt Huffman) of Indianapolis and Brigid (Brady McArdle) of Ft. Wayne. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
