He is survived by: his wife Debbie Swafford of Akron; his children, Matthew Swafford of Kentucky, Daniel (Rayann Swafford) of Pennsylvania, Whitney (Jerry Mort) of Indiana and Morgan Swafford of Indiana; his grandchildren, Aiden, Rainie, Aolani, Everly, Lauren and Revan; his siblings, Ricky Lee Swafford of Akron and Patricia (Cordell Hull) of Silver Lake; and his nephews, Damon Prater and Adam Hull.
