It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Lynn Arnett of Akron, Indiana, born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Johnson and Pearlie Johnson (Slone); her husband Adam; her children, Maria Arnett, Adam Arnett Jr. and Ell Arnett; her grandchildren, Adam Shepherd and Sally Kay Shepherd; and her siblings, Beatrice, Virginia, Rebecca Ann, Eliza, Daisy, Charlie, Bee, Henry, Chumm, Will, James and Ell.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kay Stephens of Prestonsburg, KY, Teresa (Earl Martin) of McDowell, KY, Rita (Elmer Slone) of David, KY, Sally Shepherd of Mentone, Ind., Jeff (Angie Arnett) of Milford, Mike (Marqueta Arnett) of Silver Lake, James Thomas Arnett of Warsaw and Daniel Arnett (Stephanie Mikel); and her brothers, Allen Johnson of Michigan and Elmer Emmitt Johnson of Prestonsburg, KY.. She is also survived by 23 Grandchildren; 37 Great Grandchildren.
