He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Arven and Virginia Arven (Knott); and his siblings, Carol Sundheimer, Linda Whetstone, Victor Arven Jr., Elbert Paul Arven and Dick Arven.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Arven of Rochester, Ind.; his children, Brent (Stephanie Arven) of Rochester and Virginia (Doug Clampitt) of Atwood; his grandchildren, Brandon Arven, Andrea (Roger Reed), Bradlee Arven, Noah Clampitt and Neil Clampitt; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Arven, Sadie Reed and Cora Reed.
