With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kris Eric Gearhart of Akron, Indiana, born in Bluffton, Indiana, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Brent Allen Gearhart; his grandparents, Frank, Edna Gearhart, Ed and Mary Jane Thompson; and his uncle Barry Thompson.

He is survived by: his parents, Roger Gearhart and Janet Gearhart (Thompson); and his children, Justin (Laura Gearhart) of Coin, Kristal (Isaiah Mylin) of Zionsville and Eric Gearhart of Akron, Indiana. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Donations can be made in his memory to Kindred Hospice or the Fulton County Cancer Care Fund.
