She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Young and Marie Young (Becraft); and her brothers, Alfred Young and Eugene Young. She is survived by: her children, Detre (Scott Jones) of Denver and William (Katie Day) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Austin, Anthony, Alicia, Kaylyn, Howie, Liam and Arden; her sister Geraldine; her friend N. Manchester; and her brother Gerald Young of Texas. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.
