James Lee Bucher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Bucher of Akron, Indiana, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl D. Bucher and Ruth May Bucher (Lukens); his wife Joan; his sister Linda Utter; and his daughter-in-law Marilyn K. Bucher.
He is survived by: his children, Joy L. (Robert L. McDonough) of Rock Lake, Amy (Dustin Cooper) of Akron, Ind., Jerry Bucher (Linda Carroll) of Oswego, Jeff Bucher (Paula Platt) of Akron and Jim Jr. (Mary Bucher) of North Manchester, Ind.; and his siblings, Myra Wade, Elbie Bucher and Tom Bucher. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in Jim's memory to the Akron Chamber of Commerce to be used for the Akron 4th of July.
