She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Tressa Pearl Helvey (Metzger); and her siblings, Vivian Lewis, Lamoine Helvey, Zelma Schlemmer, Robert Helvey, Richard Helvey and Ardith Smythe.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Dwight Tilden; her children, Mike Tilden (Pam), Jeff Tilden (Nancy), Scott Tilden (Cindy), Lori Tilden-Geiger (DeLynn) and Tricia Griggs (Michael); and her grandchildren, Cassandra Eherenman, David Tilden, Stephanie Tilden, Ryan Tilden, Wendy Tilden, Hillary Tilden, Mallory Deardorff-Dawson, Alex Deardorff, Graham Hoyle, Shane Potter and Blane Potter. She is also survived by spouses, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
With her compassion to make sure all children in the community were sheltered, warm and fed, her family requests in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her loving memory to the "Viking Vittles" backpack program for Tippecanoe Valley students who may be food insecure.
