She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Rex Hamilton, Vivian Conn, Jack and Wanda "Sue" Akers; and her aunt Kathy Hamilton.
She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Akers and Debbie Akers; her children, Emily Shepherd, Trey Fuston, Bradley Fuston and Marly Akers; her siblings, Doug Akers and April Hopkins (Matt); her grandfather Donald Conn; her nephew Jerry Douglas Akers III; and her niece Kirra Hopkins. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
