He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Lumpkin and Mary Belle Lumpkin (Whipple); his wife Aletha Lumpkin; his daughters, Ginger Claremohr of Whitestown, IN, Amanda Lumpkin of Indianapolis, IN, Libbi Bovin (BJ) of Westfield, IN, Jill Perkins (Andy) and Erin Ritchey (Trent); his grandchildren, Shelby Corral (Nic), Alex Truitt, Katie Randall, Abby Ryan (Colt), Toby Ferrell, Tommie Truitt, Hudson Truitt and Pax David Bovin; his great grandchild Eleanor Ryan; his grandchildren, Layne Nhi Perkins, Gus Ritchey and Hank Ritchey; his sisters, Nina Shoup of Dunlap, TN and Nona Clements (Phil) of Pittsboro, IN; his former wife Sandra (Pickel); his siblings, Robert Lumpkin (David), Dennis Lumpkin, Nina Ruth (Robert) and Nona Earlene (David); and his grandson David. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
