She was predeceased by: her husband William Wallace; her son Derrick Wallace of Yreka, CA.; her parents, Robert Broyles and Ernestine Broyles; and her siblings, Aretta Carson, Louise McCoy, Lindon Chapman, Mary Tyler, Haskell Broyles and Robert Broyles Jr..

She is survived by: her son Robert Wallace; her close friends, Joe and Gerry Spaulding of North Chicago, IL.; and her sisters, Nita Nixon and Alma Cole. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
