It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfredo Gaitan Sr. (Zion, Illinois), who passed away on December 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Maxima Gaitan; his son Julio; and his grandson Martin Gaitan. He is survived by: his children, Wilfredo Gaitan (Marjorie), Denis Gaitan (Mildred), Maria A. Gaitan, Hector Gaitan (Cecilia), Rosa Diaz (Ruben), Miguel Gaitan (Tyra), Nadine Kilpatrick and Alejandro Gaitan; and his daughter-in-law Melba Gaitan.
