He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Buckle and Percival Buckle. He is survived by: his wife Pam (Brenda-Sally); his daughter Renee Carter (Demond); his grandchildren, Demond Torie, Caleb, Amani, Trinity and MaKayla; his siblings, Bertha, Delores (Ed), Joyce and Devon (Lori); and his sisters-in-law, Melody (Sonny), Tami and Lori (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
