He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hogan and Katherine (Wininger); and his siblings, Arthur Hogan, Roger Hogan, Earl Hogan and Essie Ping.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Hogan; his children, Roy Hogan Jr. (Ivone), Brian Hogan (Nubia), Kathy Barrera (Hector), Tammy Hogan, Cheryl Mini (Antonio), Charles, Stacy Castellanos, Ricky, Karlene Castellanos, Barbara and Jeff Wilson; and his sister Jennie Adams (Brad). He is also survived by son 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent directly to the funeral home and will be forwarded to the family.
