He was predeceased by: his father William Friend; and also Betty. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Friend (Russell); his children, Danielle Sadovyi (Igor) and Eric Friend; his father-in-law Russell; his siblings, Jill Friend, Kerry (Carol) and Debbie (Russell); his brother-in-law Joel Aldridge; and his nephews, Joel Aldridge, Duell Aldridge (Janie), Daryl Aldridge (Mary Katherine) and Jonathon Friend.
