Philp Fager Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philp Fager (Zion, Illinois), who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philp Fager to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest P. Fager and Alice Fager (Mileur); his wife Geraldine "Gerry" O'Guinn; and his siblings, E. J., Victor, Robert Fager and Clarice Arbeiter.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Fager of Sussex, WI, Dennis Fager (Nancy) of Murphysboro, IL, Barbara Hansen (Ron) of Nashville, TN, Mark Fager (Donna) of Gorham, IL and Arthur Fager (Catherine) of Carbondale, IL; and his grandchildren, Eric Fager (Emily), Rachel Kreuger (Kent), Nathan Fager (Kristin), Janelle Pulcher (Jason), Benjamin Fager, Todd Fager (Sarah), Melissa Korando, Nicholaus Korando (Heather), Zachary Fager (Tiffany), Adam Fager (Amanda) and Elizabeth Fager. He is also survived by twenty two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to be made to the Murphysboro Food Pantry, the First Lutheran Church, Sallie Logan Library and John A. Logan Museum.
