He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sister Eunice Ladd; his daughter Norene; his stepdaughters, Marcia (Daniel), Deborah (Mike) and Jimmie; his grandchildren, Christopher, Rachel, Jayson, Damone, Gia, Gena, Lauren, Kristina (Cody), Staci (Travis), Alexis (Greg), Stewart (Erica), Casey (Jen) and Michael; his great grandchildren, Isis, Nyra, Aria and Catia; his nephew Marc Joplin; and his nieces, Toni Sherrod (Henry) and Tracy Boll.
