Crosswhite (Zion, Illinois), born in Lexington, Alabama, who passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan M. Thornton and Virgie Estelle Thornton (Chandler); and her siblings, Helen Stamps (late Arlon), Dora Clemmons (late Marvin), Janie Long (late John Carter), Kenneth Gray (late Addie), John D. Thornton, Oscar Thornton, James Thornton (late Ora), G. W. Thornton (late Jewel), Bobby Thornton and Robert L. Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, John Crosswhite (Laura) and Elizabeth Archibald (David); her grandchildren, Ryan (Muriel), Aaron Archibald, Katy, Adam and Meg Crosswhite; her great grandchild Maddie Archibald; her siblings, Katherine Roach (Donnie), Neal Thornton (Milline) and Richard Thornton (Shirley); and her friend Junior McCarley.
