He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Michalski; and his brother Mark Shanteau. He is survived by: his sons, Deryk Shanteau (Rebecca), Noel Shanteau (Jessica) and Cameron Shanteau (Alison); his former wife Charlotte Alden Shanteau; and his grandchildren, Jules, Ruthi, Jonas and Briar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
