He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawler and Lillian Lawler; his brother John; his brothers-in-law, Jim Gates and Danny McCormick; and his niece Erin Lawler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Gates of Lilburn, GA, Pat Lawler (Mary) of Lake Havasu, AZ, Mike of Wadsworth, Fran McCormick of Winthrop Harbor, Dorothy Fowler (Larry) of Zion, IL and Mark (Brenda) of Gurnee, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the OLH Bereavement Committee.
