He is survived by: his children, Susan Stewart, Russ Stewart (Nancy) and Deborah Maio (Jon); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Giustiniano, Kaitlyn Maio, Savannah Ogren (Evan), Josiah, Jeb, Chloe, Quincy and Klara Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Diabetes Association have been suggested.
