She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Stried and Jeanette Fagan Stried (Fagan); her husband John; her grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Elliott; her brother-in-law Jim Van Dien (Barbara); and her cousin Judy Fagan Foitik (Ed).
She is survived by: her children, Johnette and John Van Dien (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Johnna Dempsay (Tyler), Madisyn Van Dien, Tricia Sarenac (Danny) and Andrew Elliott (July); her great grandchildren, Ari, Emmi Sarenac, Dezmond, Odin Elliott and Jeremiah Elliott; and her sister-in-law Barbara Van Dien. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
