It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Nelson Linder of Zion, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Linder and Lula Mae Linder; her husband Ernest Lee Nelson; and her siblings, Blondina Linder, Annette Johnson, Mae Fitzgerald, Rupert "Bowie" Linder and Jake "Ponce" Linder Jr..

She is survived by: her siblings, Otis Linder Sr., Jeannette Davis, Morise Linder, Denise Arive and Patrick Linder; and her nieces, Stacey Tindal and Sonya Hicks.
