He is survived by: his wife Sadie; his sons, Joe Buchanan, Jr., Memphis of Tennessee and Eric Gillespie (Wrenne); and his grandson Joe Buchanan III (Trey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
