She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Petty and Willie Mae Petty; her granddaughter Charkeia Petty; and her siblings, R'Reece Goodwin, Julius Petty, Henry Petty, Bonnie Doby, Fred Petty, Ethel Mae Smith, Robert Petty and Alan Petty.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Lynn Coburn, Darrin Carl Petty and Charlette Denise Smith. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
