She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard F. Hire and Elsie Hire; her husband Kenneth Serdar; her sister Edith Jean; her brother-in-law Arnold Studebaker; and her sister Kathel Suttie.
She is survived by: her sister Alyce; and her brothers-in-law, Cleburn McIlhany and Burton Suttie.
