He is survived by: his wife Clare; his sister Florence Elizabeth Martin of Knox, IN; his children, Suzanne Clemons of Portage, IN, Natalie Jones (Steve) of Winthrop Harbor, IL and James Qualls III (Jennifer) of Beach Park, IL; his grandchildren, Jeramy Qualls (Laura), Jessica Hackenyos, William Hackenyos, Trayvion Barber, Jarryn Barber (Emmaly), Brittany Molleda (Shazay), James Qualls IV (Gloria) and Victoria Qualls; and his great grandchildren, Oliva Hawkins and Carson Barber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
