We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2020, at the age of 73, George Edward Carter (Zion, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carter and Dorothy Carter; his brother Eric; his grandmother Emma; his parents-in-law, Cedella and Kenneth Bennett; and his sister-in-law Florence Kettle.

He is survived by: his wife Dinah; his daughters, Wendy (Wayne) of Innisfil, ON and Amy (Henry) of Guelph, ON; his grandchildren, Tyler and Rachel; his siblings, John Carter (Elvena) of Jeffrey's, NL, Danny Carter (Basques) of Port, Mary Carroll (Alvin) of Doyles, NL, Joan Morris (Basques) of Port, Sharon Sheaves (Wayne) of Fort McMurray, AB and Diane Osmond (Jeff) of Powell River, BC; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Givlin (Rick) of Kitchener, ON and Nelson Kettle of Port. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends, including his close friends.

Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in George's memory can be made to the St. James Anglican Church.
