It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freida B Stickle (Zion, Illinois), born in Algood, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ershel Phy and Nellie Phy (Gilliam); her husband John V. Stickle; and her siblings, Carl, Russell Phy, Martha Lou Phy and Lee Nora Henry (Phy).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Martin (Les), Kathie Mandi (Bob) and Vickie Gorsek (Mick); her grandchildren, David Martin (Dana), Daniel Martin (Angela), Deborah Scoggin (Dan), Dallis Martin, Joe Mandi (Rachel), Megan Lee (Jimmy), Kristin Mandi, Gina Gorsek (Jason Jette), Tony Gorsek (Tanesha) and Jesse Gorsek (Leanne Kennedy); her great grandchildren, Mason, Payton, Seth, Reagan, Zachariah, Benjaman, Fiona, Ethan and Owen; and her brother Merrill Phy.
