He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Polzin and Evelyn Polzin (Murray); his daughter Mary Inez Louise; his wife Myrtle B. Polzin (Allstrom); his sister Jeannie Connell (Raymond); and his son-in-law Larry Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Lynda Smith, Dennis Polzin (Jeni Freeman), Elizabeth Hawks (Tracy), Patience Krutyholowa (Zenio) and Nancy Polzin; and his sister Pamela Warren (Butch). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
