With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen Donohue (Zion, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Donohue and Annabella Currie Donohue; her grandparents, Alexander and Annie Stewart Currie; her stepgrandmother Ellen Dolan Currie; her grandparents, James and Margaret Meechan Donochie; her brother-in-law J. Thomas Allen; and her nephew Charles Stewart.
She is survived by: her siblings, Constance Allen, Kathleen Stewart (Charles), Nancy Allen (Edward) and James Donohue (Amy); and her nieces and nephews, Nancy Allen, Beth Stewart, Alex Allen (Leslie), Eric Stewart, Anne Wright (Paul), Erin Stephens (Adam), Tom Donohue and John Donohue. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL, The Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Kenosha, WI, or Fat Cat Rescue in Wadsworth, IL.
