She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Carlton Barker; her parents, Charlie R. Russell (Clide M. Tate) and Sister Eula M. Russell; her brothers, Claude D. Tate, William T. Tate (Bud) and Billy Jack Tate; and her grandson-in-law Corey M. Loy (Bradley M. Corcoran).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Talley (Pat) of Vina, AL, Teresa Dowdal (Nick) of Beach Park, IL and Brenda Kingfisher of Kenosha, WI; and her grandchildren, Michelle Loy, Traci Guzman (Daniel), Sonya Corcoran, Nick Dowdal (Stacy), Lindsay Haley (Quinn), Steven Kingfisher (Amanda) and Aaron Kingfisher. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Congdon Funeral Home (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
