With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benigno Alvarez of Zion, Illinois, who passed away on May 23, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Alvarez and Rafela Alvarez (Moreno); and his wife Olga. He is survived by: his children, Isidro Valdez (Agnes), Juan Peña, Diana Alvarez, BenignoAlvarez II and Jose Alvarez (Rudy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Rivera (Alberto), Michael Peña, Pedro Martinez, Raymond Garza, Benigno Alvarez III, Denali Alvarez and Mia Alvarez; and his siblings, Maria Elena (Rodrigo), Jose Luis (Natalia), Antonio (Lupe), Patricia (Paco), German (Chepa) and Eduardo (Chepina). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
