He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Bestland; and his brother Daniel Bestland. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Bestland (Kimball); his wife Beth Marie Bestland; his son Derek Hildman (Lauren); his grandchildren, Nolan, Evelyn and Olivia; and his siblings, Kevin Bestland, Dawn Andersen (Steve) and Brian Bestland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
