With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alta J. Kennedy (Zion, Illinois), who passed away on July 29, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Detienne and Marie Detienne (Westphal); her siblings, David Detienne, Arvid Detienne, Lillian Detienne, Marion Fate Webster and Laota Dexter; and her niece Gail French.
She is survived by: her child Kathryn; her grandchildren, Paul Nassoor (Kelly) and Elizabeth Dare (Tyler); her great grandchild Fern Nassoor; her brothers, Dennis Detienne (Judy) and John Detienne (Sandra); and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Detienne, Darleen Sanders (Howard) and William Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Community Church in Memory of Alta.
