He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; his mother Sarah Carroll; his brothers, James Friedline, Arthur Carroll and Edward Bloodworth; his son-in-law Julius J. R. Gray; and his great grandchild Ben Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, Robyn Vaughn (Jerry), Patricia Gray, Jeanna Shoemaker (Jerry), Michael Sutton (Kim) and William "Bill" Workman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Apostolic Church (403 Church St, Zeigler, IL 62999). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
