Margie Lou Ridings Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margie Lou Ridings of Zeigler, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Smith and Audrey Smith (Ferges); her husband Charles Edward Ridings; her sister Dorothy Sexton; and her son-in-law Charles DeNosky.
She is survived by: her children, Kathie DeNosky of Ferges and Jim Ridings (Sandy) of Johnston City; and her grandchildren, Bryan DeNosky (Nicole), Dave DeNosky (Maria) of Marion, Angie Blumenstock (Heath) of Marion, Jeremy Ridings (Heather) of Marion, Drew Ridings of Johnston City and Danny Ridings of Marion. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or St. Francis Animal Shelter.
