We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2020, at the age of 77, Larry Gene Jones of Zeigler, Illinois, born in Mulkeytown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gene and Elnora Jones (Kunkel); his daughter Marsha Benson; his son-in-law Tim Benson; his stepson Justin Sparks; and his brothers-in-law, Clifford Kent Batson and Evan Sink.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Jones (Poole); his son Mike Jones (Shirley) of Zeigler; his stepdaughter Friar Poole of Elkville, IL; and his sisters, Rita Hitt (Dwight) of Mulkeytown and Gayla Prather (John David) of Mulkeytown. He is also survived by one granddaughter; three grandsons; three step granddaughters; three step grandsons; five great grandsons; one future great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gilbert Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
