We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2023, at the age of 91, Jimmie Dale Rhodes of Zeigler, Illinois, born in Alto Pass, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Rhodes and Geneva Rhodes (Bridgeman); his siblings, Lane Rhodes (Belinda Lu) and Beverly Rhodes; and his brother-in-law Gary Rendleman.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Rhodes of Zeigler; his daughters, Lesa Ann Joiner (Stephen) of Hickory, NC and Rhoda Dale Champley (Phillip) of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Erin Kathleen Joiner of Atlanta, GA, Kelsi Dale Champley of Boston, MA and Kord Phillip Champley (Madisyn) of Assumption, IL; his great grandchild Cainen Rhodes Champley; and his sister Sherry Rendleman of Wolf Lake, IL.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are preferred to be made to Zeigler First Baptist Church.
