We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2023, at the age of 85, Dorothy Bagwell-O'Brian of Zeigler, Illinois, born in Hammond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Brumm and Grace Brumm (DeLaney); her husband Arvel Dean Bagwell; her former husband Benjamin O'Brian; and her sisters, Virgene Hall and Carol Brumm.

She is survived by: her children, David Bagwell of Zeigler and Pam Bagwell of Zeigler; and her pets, Sophie and Sadie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Zeigler, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Herrin, or Zeigler Fire Department.
